Cholula is doing well with making sauces I enjoy. In fact, the other green sauce I picked up specifically calls to such. Usually, a jalapeño and poblano pepper sauce would be rather mild. The cumulative effect of all 10 wings had my mouth filled with heat. So, I was surprised a couple wings in when my nose started running. Jalapeños and poblanos aren’t that high on the scoville scale, generally speaking. It’s also a lot hotter than I originally expected. I like the flavor of jalapeños particularly, so it’s no wonder that I was enjoying eating these wings. There’s the distinctly “grassy notes” of jalapeños and poblanos. I am amazed that this sauce doesn’t list lime in the ingredients. The sauce is rather think, and I can see how some people might think it kind of resembles old Nickelodeon slime.
